new treatments
on offer.
While some
new or struggling
teachers might need to submit daily lesson plans for many weeks or months at a time that you'll need to review and provide
feedback on, others will need you in their room to help with a challenging student, or to be a thought partner
on a topic they are presenting to the rest of the staff.
Most of the
new data show that a great majority of
teachers score just as highly
on the
new evaluations as they did
on the previous ones, and it is unclear whether the reforms have systematically — or broadly — led to
teachers to receiving better
feedback that is translating to better teaching.

new roles for
teachers that let them continue to work in the classroom while being given opportunities to shape education policy and give
feedback on improvement efforts.

Beginning
teachers need to learn

feedback, and gradually assume increased responsibility in the classroom and at the school level.
