reinforced later in June by economic data which showed that the economy was not deteriorating further and by the
Fed's
decision to cut official interest rates by 25 basis points rather than the 50 basis points that had been widely anticipated.
The
decision to bedshare, in turn, further
reinforces and increases breastfeeding in both the short term (
feeds per night and total
feeding time) and long term (number of months breastfeeding is maintained).1 In total, this positive bedsharing - breastfeeding connection renders reductionistic and unqualified recommendations against the practice of bedsharing among nonsmoking, non-drug-using mothers especially problematic.1, 29
