The best part
about coconut flour is that it absorbs liquid so it still
feels dense too - not like other flours that don't fill you.
I
feel pretty energized, but I need to give this a little more time (and stop staying up so darn late on the weekends), so I can be more accurate in my assessment

coconut palm sugar and whether they are as healthy as everyone says, but I honestly
feel there is enough scientific data behind both being better for you than butter and white sugar so I will use them in my baking whenever possible.

The last recipes I remember
feeling that way
about were my jackfruit carnitas 2.0, and before that, my
coconut curry pasta (< - underappreciated recipe alert!).
It's an excellent alternative to traditional wheat flour because it's high in fiber (
about 5 grams per tablespoon) and lowers the glycemic index (the measure of a food's impact on blood sugar).1 In a nutshell, that means
coconut flour helps you to
feel fuller (and all that fiber helps to keep you regular), and the lower glycemic index means your blood sugar won't spike as quickly as grain - based flours.2

feel better eating smaller amount of protein (200 - 300g of meat a day — eating more than this seems to make me aggressive and anxious),

about the use of it when I decide to indulge.

I've been eating more meats / fats and less carbs for a long time to stave off diabetes, etc. (I'm 67 years old) So when I heard
about all the cancer diet approach (low fat, no meat, etc.) I ate nothing but rabbit food for awhile, and did not
feel as well — I did add back some meat and my healthy
coconut oil.
Coconut oil increases the
feelings of fullness making it easier to eat fewer calories, without thinking
about it (10).
