teachers say they were unprepared for the classroom after they
graduated from their
teacher preparation program.21
Studies of highly developed PDSs have found that new
teachers who
graduate from such programs
feel better prepared to teach and are rated by employers, supervisors, and researchers as stronger than other new
teachers.
