It breaks the mold when it comes to strategy, but
feels like all other fps innovations (and some basics) that have happened over the years were thrown out the window.
When you're playing a game that
feels like every other FPS out there and doesn't differentiate itself except for a cover system that plays like every other cover system out there, then there's nothing to make the player or the game feel like Bond and everyone knows that the worst Bond material is the material that loses what Bond is.

It's not quite the evolution we hoped it to be, but on the
other hand Carmack and his team show how guns on an

During my play time I really
felt as if I was part of something bigger, almost
like I was actually fighting with
other soldiers in a war and not rambo taking on the world
like any
other fps game.
What's to stop if from
feeling like the multitude of
other FPS games?
The levels were as interesting as any
other Halo campaign but due to the better graphics and the ability to climb up a ledge rather than having to jump above it's height it made it great to explore for skulls and collectables, within the 9 hour co-op game both myself and Russ found ourselves venturing off and climbing up different parts of the maps to see how high we could get or what was hidden away, we came across a few Easter eggs on the way and found some rare or «special» weapons, Halo has always been a
FPS which you have to explore to find Easter eggs etc. but Halo 5 just seemed better than the rest for this, the game flowed well between each level bouncing from blue team and team Osiris following the story to show where paths cross and what each team is doing in between, I
feel like all of the trailers kind of pointed the story into a different direction to the way the campaign developed which was surprising and confusing at the same time but none the less it was a great campaign and one of the best Halo games I have played in many years, I was never a fan of Halo 4 I thought it lacked everything a Halo game should be but Halo 5 has surprised me and was well worth the wait.
From its gorgeous visuals, to its solid 60
fps framerate, to its stylish new UI, to its superb soundtrack, to its familiar - yet - fresh gameplay, to its rich character roster, to its robust netcode, to so many
other things, Street Fighter V
feels like the evolution that the series needed — and that the fans deserved.
We're going to ignore the existence of Federation Force
like most Metroid fans and instead state that there hasn't been a new Samus Aran game since
Other M. Now, whether or not this franchise returns in
FPS or platformer form (we'll happily take either) is unclear, but it
feels like the right time for a proper Metroid experience on console.
You'll want to use the left stick to move and the right stick to turn just as in any
other FPS, but the fact you can also turn your body whichever way you
like can lead to odd situations where you move one way while turning the
other and end up
feeling like you're on a ferry in a class - 5 hurricane.
I just
felt like when I was playing Modern Combat that sure the game looked good, but it never wanted to beyond that to try and really make this game look better then most
other FPS.

The OWL stuff is fun and creates some opportunities for strategies — which can
feel like single - player co-op — that differentiate Shadow Fall's single - player from
other FPS campaigns.
