While this can save you money in comparison to paying
overdraft or NSF
fees, if the bank's policy does not
include mandatory notifications for each
overdraft transfer, you can end up draining your savings before you realize what's happening.
«Good Standing» means that you 1) make sufficient deposits to bring your account to a positive end of day balance at least once every 30 calendar days (
including payments of all bank
fees and charges); 2) avoid excessive
overdrafts; and 3) there are no legal orders, levies, or liens against your account.
If you do not have sufficient available funds in the Account which is the source of funds to cover the Transfer,
including funds available under an
overdraft protection plan, on the date for which it was scheduled and attempts to post to your Account, we may process the Transfer, overdraw the Account, and charge you an
overdraft fee as set forth in the Account Agreement governing the Account and the applicable
fee schedule.
You will incur in penalty
fees that will take your
overdraft even further and you will have to pay higher interests on the whole amount (the sum
included in the limit and the sum exceeding the limit).
