Start with simple steps by repopulating your gut flora with super

fermented foods can have an odd taste for young taste buds... ok I admit it... adult taste buds too... so I had to put on my Sneaky Bacon Mum hat to solve this one!
This diet is super healthy and does allow plenty of choices: meat, fish, vegetables (peas & green beans are fine), nuts (not peanuts which are a legume), fruit, «safe starches» (rice pasta, sweet / white potatoes and white rice), wine (which I
like but don't
drink due to Rx), healthy fat
like lard, butter, cream, olive oil and coconut oil, dairy, chocolate, eggs,
fermented vegetables and some safe sweeteners such as rice syrup.
The key is for consumers who
drink tea and
fermented teas
like kombucha to be aware of how to source and brew these healthful beverages.
I tried to
drink plenty of water and I consumed loads of
fermented stuff - kombucha (I
like GT's and Health - Ade), homemade
fermented veggies, yogurt and probiotics.
Keep eating what you want and just start adding in some healthier foods
like bone broth or collagen powder, probiotics from
drinks and
fermented foods, and experiment with veggies to retrain your taste buds.
But you can also use (i) regular cow's milk (or goats milk), (ii) another non-dairy milk
like almond, cashew or oat milk, (iii) coconut water or (iv) try using 1/2 — 1 cup of natural yoghurt or kefir (a
fermented milk
drink) and thinning out with water, as required.
Like all
fermented drinks or foods, water kefir has a vast array of benefits.

fermented foods feeding the yeast i suspected that was my issue also id
like to know about coconut syrup... or sugar if it feeds candida i was following the gaps diet it was working well until i started eating kefier a
fermented food i was also
drinking the juice of pickles which seemed ok but the keifer is not working is my guess but its hard to trust myself as it suppose to be so good and packed with healthy bacteria to help with constipation etc...
