I've been to the Caribbean in July (Grand Cayman) and agree that it was a lovely time to visit —
a few afternoon showers would blow in and blow out giving a break from the heat and setting up for amazing sunsets!

As the system moves across the region and Martinsville Speedway on Saturday more
showers and even a
few thunderstorms are possible through the morning and
afternoon.
While bulk of the rain is done by morning a
few lingering
showers are possible, maybe some mist or drizzle, and we could see some of the activity increase late
afternoon and evening.
That last bit had to change, though, because, frankly, it had been a
few days, and more important, we were seeing people who
showered regularly later that
afternoon and I wanted to be semi-presentable.
