We use primarily pockets with
a few AIO and a few snapless fitteds for overnight.
I have
a few AIO DIAPERS I love but I wish the soakers where made from a different material.
Right now, I only have prefolds and BG (one - size and
a few AIOs)-- my velcro is starting to get a wee bit fuzzy, but I'll probably replace the tabs because I really do love them so far.
Even if you plan to buy another style of diaper, you may want to consider adding
a few AIOs to your stash for those times when convenience is important, or for when others who are uncomfortable with cloth diapers may be caring for your baby!
When we're out i usually go for fitteds and PUL covers or one of
the few AIOs we have.
I have
a few AIOs that don't have that... the tunnel makes them so much more versatile.

Unless you are strictly using pocket diapers or
aio's, you will definitely want at least a
few PUL covers in your stash.
Then, when the baby gets bigger, the one sizes fit better (we had issues at the legs of the one - size
AIO and AI2 diapers being too big for the first
few months).
we did sposies for the first
few weeks with my first 2 until they fit in
AIOs, so this is good info if we have a third!
A
few weeks ago Thirsties introduced their natural
AIO diaper and fans are loving the organic cotton and hemp absorbency.
I had Kissaluvs Fitteds, Thirsties Duo Diapers, Rumparooz Lil Joeys, BumGenius newborn
AIOs, GroVia newborn
AIOs, XS Fuzzibunz, and a
few random diapers they don't even make anymore.
For the first
few weeks we use BumGenius (BG)
AIO NB's.
I do still have quite a
few pocket diapers since it's hard to get rid of your favorite prints, but going forward I am only buying
AIO diapers.

AIOs, and gives the icky stuff

This is the reason there are so many
AIO projects in proportion to the relatively small number of steady jobs and thus so
few opportunities for
AIOs to continue at the university after finishing their projects.

few choices for hardware, but the slection isn't overwhelming.
