Since posting the original cornbread recipe back in April 2013, I've realized that
a few alternate ingredients work just as well as the originals, so I've added those to the ingredient list.
Not exact matches
add the dry
ingredients to the batter very slowly,
alternating 1/4 -1 / 2 c flour mixture, followed by a
few tbsp of warm water.
With mixer on lowest speed,
alternating adding dry and wet
ingredients to batter, beginning and ending with the dry, until all has been added and the batter is almost smooth, with a
few streaks of the dry
ingredients still visible.
