a few chalk paint projects.

And here are a
few of my own
chalk paint projects in which I've used the recipe I'm sharing today.
I already had some
chalk paint left over from another
project so the only cost was a
few pennies for the Marimekko paper napkins.
I have tried a
few types of
chalk paint but have yet tried milk
paint but I think my next furniture
project I will have to try it out.
I went through my
paint supply and found leftover
paint from a
few previous
projects — I had on hand Annie Sloan
Chalk Paint ® in Pure White and Amy Howard One Step
Paint in Atelier (link below).
I had a
few options at this point: I could
paint regular latex
paint which I had from another
project in a dark gray, I could
paint chalk paint from another
project with a light blue / gray tint, I could spray another layer of
chalk paint on it and pray it does a little better than round one, or I could try spraying it with regular spray
paint in a dark gray.
I did my first
chalk paint project a
few weeks ago and now I am obsessed!

Today, I'm excited to start sharing a
few of the
projects we've been working on at my childhood home Loblolly Manor including this milk
paint to
chalk paint chair makeover.
I have a shelf that I
painted with the charcoal
chalk paint, too, as well as a
few wall hangings to add, but at the minute this is as far as I got before I needed to get to work on other
projects.
