But the next
few films in the franchise are going to make it literally impossible to stay in the dark.
Not exact matches
One of the
few last successful horror
franchises in modern history would have to be the Paranormal Activity flicks where it goes to show, that a
film that makes noises
in another room can scare the living hell out of millions of people.
The first
few years of his career following the departure from the show were somewhat lackluster, but Smits eventually landed the role of Senator Bail Organa
in the second and third Star Wars prequels, a move that would permanently cement him
in film history
in the minds of at least one very large fanbase.
In addition to his work with the Star Wars
franchise, Smits also made an inevitable return to the small - screen mid-decade with a prominent role on NBC's The West Wing during the show's 2004 - 2005 season.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the super-producer behind the Transformers and Matrix
franchises (and currently
in the UK working on Kenneth Branagh's Jack Ryan) is overseeing the
film, and he'll be receiving Empire's screenplay for Chuckie Egg
in the next
few days.
The final outing
in the series for Shia LaBeouf and co (though Megan Fox was replaced here already, after falling out with Bay), with John Malkovich and Frances McDormand among those paying for new houses with a
few weeks work, the
film does at least have a striking moon - landing themed opening, and an enormous extended climax that marks a high watermark for the
franchise's action (particularly an impressive Halo jump sequence done for real).
No clue how this will effect the
film franchise, but I'm sure we can expect a reboot
in a
few years depending on how audiences take to the new personalities / sexes / identities.

There are also a
few questionable moments during the
film when it disregards some key events
in the
franchise history.
Universal thus far hasn't decided to explore this area, which is just fine, as
few would want to see a Psycho
film without Norman Bates
in it, so it is only fitting that the
film franchise end here.
Chris Tucker is the cinematic equivalent of one of those celestial events that only happens once every
few years — he hasn't appeared
in a
film since 2007's Rush Hour 3 and the Brett Ratner
franchise marked the three lone acting jobs he's taken since 1998.
The trend continues after Marky Mark, as the list is mainly comprised of actors who've starred
in uber - lucrative
franchises or big - budget superhero movies,
films for which there are conspicuously
few female roles.
Well,
few people love William Friedkin, John Boorman, and Paul Schrader as much as I do, but
in my book, of the six or so
films that have tried to turn that tortured title into a continuing
franchise Blatty's The Exorcist III is the best, hands down.»
Gomez, a former Disney star, has spent the last
few years splitting the difference between kiddie
films and more outrageous fare, dipping
in between stuff like the Hotel Transylvania
franchise and Spring Breakers or Neighbors 2.
Recently, it was reported that he is
in talks with Deadpool director Tim Miller to bring a new Terminator
film to life
in a
few years; though after being burned many times before, some audiences may not want to see more from this
franchise.
But however poorly executed they are, at least the
film gives the impression that there are a
few ideas floating around
in its head — unlike the
franchise's third go - round.
Boyle, still doing press for his new
film Trance, decried the lack of «adult

in the modern movie marketplace and has a
few places to lay the blame, with Pixar Animation Studios as well as with the Star Wars
franchise.
When Halloween: Resurrection opened
in the summer of 2002, it marked the final appearance of scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis
in the
franchise that made her famous, as well as the end of the original series of
films, but
few could have predicted how ahead of its time it was
in terms of its online streaming reality TV plot.
So, I'll likely be watching all of them this week, and you'll get to hear my thoughts on the actual

The
film even has a
few good ideas of its own, which give the
film a stronger female presence than any other iteration of the
franchise on top of that — Marian (Alyssa Milano) is the head of a rad vigilante group called the Power Corps (because no one could think of a more nineties name, apparently) and the Lees are trained by Satori Imada (Julia Nickson), who acts as the orphans» badass mother figure (despite the actress being barely ten years older than the guys, but she gets a token grey streak
in her hair to «establish» her wisdom).
The collection is a lot more substantive than your usual VR
film tie -
in, but with a
few exceptions, the designers apparently didn't get the rights to all the movie and game
franchises Spielberg did.
