January 15, 2017 - When it comes to fast -
paced retro platformers, very
few games stand out in my memory as being as enjoyable as Adventure Island.
No, there are no predators or «big»
game (like elephants) but the slow
pace, and
fewer tourists, means that your visit is pure peace.
It's the perfect light filler
game; anybody can learn the rules in just a
few minutes, there's just enough strategy to keep everyone feeling engaged, it plays in about 30 - minutes at a quick
pace and above all else it's fun.
The change over was instantly noticeable, with enemies actually bringing me close to death on a number of occasions even in the first
few levels but luckily the
game gives you all the tools you need to survive the change of
pace.
It can be jarring at first, but once your eyes adjust it's a beautiful

TriLinea: This one looks to be a fast

game, but I could not find any directions on how to play so I gave up trying to figure it out after a
