Celebrating Swapnote's triumphant return under a new
coat of paint a
few weeks ago are brand new catchers
of Nikki and friends, as
well as a plenty
of repeats for those who missed out in the past.
All it requires is a
few thick
coats of chalkboard
paint, and you're
good to go, and the
best part is that your fridge will still be magnetic, so none
of your souvenir magnets have to go to waste.
And sand off a
few coats of paint from your cabinetry for a
well - loved feel.
First up, after a quick wipedown to remove any dust or dirt, we set all the frames out on a drop cloth, sans glass, and gave them a
few good coats of white spray
paint.
The walls got a

Paints Colour for 2014 Plantain Chips and I am just loving it.
The stock, wood - stained cabinets were in
good shape so a
few coats of white
paint freshened them up while a new light fixture and sleek dining set finished the look.
Neutral
paint colors (light grays, browns, dark blues, dark greens, dark reds, etc.) contain a primary color (s) and a
good amount
of titanium dioxide, which provides excellent hide and requires
fewer coats.
I just applied one
coat but looking back on it now two would have been
best because I had a
few spots where the stain kept wanting to show through which required extra
coats of paint.
