I am crazy about banana wraps, in which I put my homemade almond butter, your
granola recipe, one banana and a
few strawberry slices and roll it all into a wrap.
I got your
recipe book for my birthday a
few weeks ago and have so far made the cinnamon pecan
granola, lentil bolognaise, coconut thai curry with chickpeas, chickpea flour wraps and warming winter curry.
I make a batch of
granola every week as it is my go to for munchies and once I made this particular
recipe a
few weeks back I have never turned from it.
Lately I've been going back to older
granola recipes I have shared on previous occasions and I've been updating a
few of those
recipes.
I've seen maybe a million (okay more like a
few dozen)
granola recipes in my life, and I always thought they seemed pretty time consuming, but how wrong I was.
But before I bid you adieu for a
few weeks, I wanted to share my new favorite
granola recipe with you.

Simply slit two vanilla beans down the middle, drop them into 375 ml of vodka (I used the red Smirnoff) and within a
few weeks you will have infused pure vanilla extract that someone can use in all sorts of
recipes like
granola, pumpkin bread, French toast, and oatmeal.
With this new
granola recipe, I took a
few tips from my previous gluten free
granola recipe, with an emphasis on it being more nutrient dense, and grain free.
After making
granola on and off for the last
few years and tweaking it a little each time, this
recipe is now my new favorite.
I have no food issues or allergies, and I'm a carnivore, I just love good food, especially a tasty breakfast, so I'm going to work my way all through your
granola recipes, and hope you'll be creating a
few more.
Whilst browsing various health food blogs one day however, I came across quite a
few recipes for
granola sweetened predominantly with banana.
Throw a
few tablespoons in your
granola recipe like I do here, mix it with your favorite plant milk to enjoy hot to iced, or incorporate it into your baked goods (did I hear chai pancakes?)

few months ago, I came across a
recipe for olive oil and maple
granola on Food52.
To make your own paleo
granola you should stick with this
recipe — it works — but you could totally substitute a
few ingredients here and there to personalize it: Don't like sunflower seeds?

In the meantime I am going to experiment with some freezable raw
recipes (
granola, breakfast cookies, crackers), stock up on nuts and seeds, and hopefully, be ready to go raw in a
few weeks.

few: Fruit pouches, dried fruit, air - popped popcorn, low - fat yogurt and
granola, veggie chips, peanut butter and fruit / veggie, and there are even homemade «cookie»
recipes that can be made with less refined sugar and more healthy benefits like oatmeal, nuts, and fruit.
