In today's post, I'm sharing
a few holiday cocktails I came up with while exploring our liquor cabinet and pantry at the cabin.

Additional uses for this festive garnish include: sliding a
few frosted cranberries onto small
cocktail skewers and serving them alongside a drink, adding them to a cheese board for a dose of much needed colour, garnishing a fruit platter to be served at a
holiday brunch, or simply filling small bowls and distributing them around your space for a pretty, edible
holiday table decoration.
Food,
cocktails, friends, family, traveling, gifts, and a whirlwind of social activities can sometimes be a little crazy and exhausting, so I've rounded up a
few of my favorite things to help make your
holiday entertaining a little easier, stylish and a whole lot more fun (and tasty!)
I say this for a
few reasons; 1) It's not really a party without drinks (its really just an after - hours meeting); 2) alcohol is typically a great way to break the ice, especially with people that don't know each other well (great for mixing of said «friends and family»); and 3) the
holidays are a perfect time for a fantastic, well crafted
cocktail!
A
few years back the
holiday parties at work were extravagant with ball gowns and fancy dinners, and then I switched careers and at my new job the parties are semi formal, which means I had to go from shopping for gowns to shopping for a more
cocktail dress kind of look.
Put your feet up by the fire with a signature
cocktail at Inn by the Sea, and let the Sea Glass Chefs do the cooking - just relax and forget those
holiday lists for a
few hours!
Better yet, leave a
few out at your
holiday party and let your guests mix and match their own bitter
cocktails.
