community, and keep
kids engaged.
Waiving fees, supplying equipment or instruments, covering the cost of uniforms, providing transportation, partnering with
community - based entities to offer scholarships for specialized skill and talent development, and eliminating cut policies are a
few of the ways
in which schools work diligently to ensure that all
kids have access to the benefits of extracurricular participation.
If they can scrounge up the cash, they may be able to send their
kids to one of the
few Catholic or parochial schools that are still open
in their
communities.

in individual students like they're a promising stock option, to name a

Research shows
kids who have been exposed to some form of social and emotional learning have
fewer mental health problems, are financially better off and are more likely to vote when they're older —
in other words, they're engaged with the
community.
