If you search for the phrase «social media and SEO» you'll still be inundated with quite a
few «low authority»
websites that have been written by
authors who know how to max out their search rankings without necessarily gaining an organic following based
on their expertise.
I've launched the project
on the Kickstarter
website, a site which helps
authors, movie makers, artists, and other creative folks find funding for their projects, and I would love you to go there, watch my short video, read about the project, and hopefully be inspired to throw a
few bucks our way.
As part of our ongoing effort to promote JPAM

I will continue to submit to large and small publishers to get input where I can and showcase a

authors.
Like every other indie
author I understand how expensive, time - consuming and difficult it is to spread the word about our books.I'm willing to help other indies make a
few waves by featuring them
on my
website (interviews, new release announcements, cover reveals, etc.) and posting
on my social media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google +.)
So, asking for help if you need it and focusing
on the results are a
few things that will shift your
website in a forward direction to have it benefit you, the
author, and your book.
While there are a
few small, inexpensive promotional opportunities for
authors on the
website, Bookady.com isn't looking to the
authors for any income other than the commissions they earn.
We have set up a fair
few author websites, and are always around to give advice to any
author keen
on setting up their own.
When one
author posted a negative review
on Amazon's
website, pointing out the publisher's fraudulent behavior, it, too, was removed within a
few days — undoubtedly upon request by the Rosser, the publisher.
I have learned quite a
few lessons as an Indie
Author over the last two years and will share them with you
on this
website.

Again, that's only for visitors who have the time to read an entire book
on a
website, but perhaps a
few creative
authors will find ways to encourage this sort of behavior.
There are volumes more to say
on what an
author's
website should do and have and be, but we'll stick to these
few today.
I believe this happens for a
few reasons:
Website design and development is a more technical area, plus
few authors actively engage
on their site with readers.
Author Elissa Malcohn has made her six volume Deviations series available for free in the Kindle format
on her
website which, strangely enough, are not for sale in the Kindle format
on the Amazon
website; the paper versions are, and the first volume in the series is $ 13.95 if you want to kill a
few trees.
Also, for time series analyse4s, where it would be useful, say, to update a published analysis with the latest
few years of data, this is already normally done via a database

authors website...
