few pairs of sandals I get more use out of than simple black strappies that transition from day to night so flawlessly — plus they stay comfortable.
I end up wearing comfy beach clothes with
a few pairs of sandals to mix and match through the week.

The answer is that purchasing a cheaper
pair of sandals, which you are only going to wear only a
few times until they go bad is going to cost more in the long run than a
pair that is more expensive.
