I've seen quite
a few pictures of babies coming out or just out who are flipping a bird.
Many of the mothers of newborns I photographed would pull me aside and whisper an almost embarrassed request to take
a few pictures of their baby nursing.
Not exact matches
Here are just a
few: Jordan Peele became the first African American to win the Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Get Out, and Guillermo del Toro's The Shape
of Water won for Best
Picture — a film featuring a female actor in the lead role hasn't won the category since Million Dollar
Baby in 2004.
Maybe Olivia Wilde's photo shoot will help a young expecting mother consider breastfeeding or maybe it will help mothers who never would have thought to take
pictures of themselves breastfeeding to take the opportunity to document that special time with their
baby through a photo session or at least a
few iphone
pictures.
On the day
of the operation, M sent me a
picture: her
baby with her in the hospital bed, latched on and blissfully drinking, within a
few hours
of the operation.
In such a setting, the
baby has what some call breastmilk jaundice, though, on occasion, infections
of the urine or an under functioning
of the
baby's thyroid gland, as well as a
few other even rarer illnesses may cause the same
picture.
I guess someone was beacuse a
few short days later while browsing facebook a friend
of mine (that lives less than a mile away and I see on a frequent basis) posted a
picture of an adorable little animal she knitted as a
baby gift for a friend
of ours.
A
few potted things the boycott and campaign has achieved: The International Code
of Marketing
of Breastmilk Substitutes (despite what Nestlé told the bloggers, it opposed the Code - scans
of documents from the time are on our site), the Code's implementation in 70 countries to greater or lesser degrees, breastfeeding rates in countries taking action to stop malpractice increasing (Brazil from median duration 3 months in the 1980s to 10 months today), Nestlé changing its policy on milk nurses and
baby pictures on formula, stopping specific cases
of malpractice such as Nestlé promoting formula in Botswana as preventing diarrhoea etc. etc..
We didn't do a tour, but our hospital had a lot
of pictures online and then our friends had a
baby in the same hospital a
few months before.
Too often there are tons
of pictures of baby with friends and family, but only a
few with Mom and
baby because we're so often behind the camera
Then again maybe it is ringworm - I just got done looking at quite a
few pictures of ring worm and it looks very similar to what my
baby has on their butt.
We gave our oldest son a kid's camera which was lovely — it was so neat to see what he took
pictures of those first
few weeks (
baby feet,
baby toys, and more!).
Looking back at the early days, recording the funny memories you never want to forget, and having a go - to spot for storing everything from
pictures to
baby announcements are just a
few of the uses
of these modern record keepers.
I had to add this funny
picture of me nursing my
baby on the boat a
few summers ago.
So a blog reader caught my attention a
few days later when she shared a link about the death
of baby Magnus (
pictured) in a birthing center.
This is one
of the first
of many milestones you and your
baby will share, so snap a
few pictures!
When you find yourself getting excited about the next milestone
of starting solid foods and all the messy
pictures that will excite your memories for years to come, remember you've got just these
few short months to be your
baby's whole nutritional world, whether by breast or bottle.
I spend the next
few minutes taking the first
pictures of mom and
baby, dad and
baby and texting her friends and family the good news!
Look at a
few pictures of your friends taken right after the
baby arrives — who looks worse then: woman or man?
For simplicity's sake, the device has
few buttons; one has a
picture of a
baby (where the breathing tube would connect), and another has a graphic denoting a water bottle.
A
few months ago, my step mom sent me a
picture of one
of their cats wearing a «Ty» tag (Beanie
Babies, anyone?)
Sophia has been giving plenty
of hugs and kisses to
baby Ameyia (she can't pronounce her L's) I took the camera out the other day and captured a
few pictures of my belly.
I also can't wait to see
pictures of baby and Jerome in a
few months time!!
And while the answers may not be as satisfying and / or as cut - and - dried as many
of us would like (especially those who do have kids), the journey — while a bit long and convoluted at times (it is sort
of a «Gone
Baby Gone» meets «The Silence
of the Lambs «-RRB--- it is nevertheless fascinating and populated with terrific performances, so don't be surprised if the Academy
of Motion
Picture Arts and Sciences comes calling with a
few nods next January.
