In driving to the bank the other day, still displayed was a manger seen as you might expect: Two gaudy plasticine figures dressed in freakishly loud blues and reds, perched over a fading baby mannequin laying atop
a few planks of wood and I said exactly the same thing, «Who STILL believes this stuff?»

You can build your own by nailing a long
plank of wood to smaller blocks
of wood and standing it on the ground like a table (you only want the
plank to be a
few inches off
of the ground, so use sturdy, but short blocks
of wood).
Only a select
few items are shown in the trailer with players using
wood planks to board up leaking holes in the lower decks
of their ships or having a drink which makes them drunk in - game.
In our own home, we have done a
few plank walls, added mudroom built - ins, and are in the process
of designing some fabulous barn

Was wondering what you thought
of using caulk to fill nail holes and to create a seal between each
plank — recessed enough that the
plank motif is still evidence but it will give a uniform depth (and fill in those
few places where the
wood was chipped — these cheap
planks do have some duds)?
