the few platform exclusives that Microsoft has at the moment, its showing at E3 seemed rather muted.

Both offer feature parity apart from a
few platform -
exclusive maps and modes.

few direct competitors thanks to
exclusive sales agreements with Marvel and DC, not to mention that a white label version of its digital comics
platform is used by many of the major publishers.

I think they may have pulled a Nintendo and secured Vanquish 2
exclusive to Xbox
platforms, Actually they may have gone back to Sega like they did with the original xbox and secured a bunch of their games for xbox exclusivity... thats the only way I see them making a quick and big splash with fans... if they announced new studios under their umbrella thats great but fans are not going to see those rewards until the next generation as it will take a
few years to get those IP's whether brand new or existing franchises up and running... thats how I see them making shock and awe, IF they even pull that off.
Insomniac Games is still making an
exclusive for Sony
platforms and after a
few leaks, they have finally unveiled it today.

few fun ones, like MegaRace, otherwise only available for MS - DOS and 3DO, Iron Helix, otherwise only available on old computer
platforms, and Rise of the Dragon, otherwise only on DOS, Amiga, and Macintosh.
This news isn't all too surprising, given that this was leaked just ahead of the official announcement via a
few media outlets, who reported that Spotify would be coming to the Xbox
platform after previously having been
exclusive to the PlayStation brand for the last couple of years.
As console architecture begins mimicking the PC more and more, hopefully we'll have
fewer and
fewer «
exclusive» titles that make us groan when we discover that new - cool - looking - game - we - need - to - play isn't coming to our
platform of choice.
