I've heard of a
small company that missed its profit - sharing trigger by just a

few small things hotels can do to score big
bonus points in my books:
Hyatt is a much
smaller hotel chain than SPG, Marriott, Hilton, etc. but it does have a
few nice Park Hyatt hotels that can make the 2 free night signup
bonus worth ~ $ 2000, depending on where you redeem them.
If it is a card that I want to keep open because it has no annual fee or I get a retention
bonus, I might use it once every
few months for a
small purchase to show I am using the card.
As to a good replacement for the BCP, there are a
few good alternatives: 1) Ink Bold / Plus (but you said that isn't an option for you); 2) US Bank Cash + (buy gift cards at department stores); 3) Citi Forward (buy gift cards at book stores); 4) The Chase Freedom card is a great all around card with its quarterly 5X
bonus categories and the option to earn 5X or more on all
small purchases when you combine the Freedom with a Chase checking account.
Just as importantly, you'll also get a
small bonus pack of a
few gold items, which may include a player or two.
here is what I would do... and notice, not a paint brush in sight: 1 ~ Hang a great porch swing... weeeee... and that swing must be festooned with loads of floral pillows and some with cow spots 2 ~ Add enough rocking chairs for the fam and a
few friends that will stop by 3 ~ On either side of the door... place potted laurel wood privets 4 ~ Drape some cool looking quilts over the brick railing 5 ~ Here and there place some
small tables to hold baby pots of lavender and glasses of lemonade or for card playing and
bonus... 6 ~ From the ceiling hang some iron chandeliers and another
bonus... 7 ~ Place a cat or dog on that porch
