a few used paperbacks have crept in here and there.

few years it has become possible for all of us to write and publish both
paperback and digital versions of our writing

It's made creating ebooks and the
few paperbacks I've worked easier than any free program I've ever
used.
But since we usually post our books eight times (in
paperback, an ebook in pdf, and six other «open» publishers within a
few days of each other), we
use two of our ISBNs that we bought (at embarrassing overpriced rates from Bowker), one for bound versions, one for digital versions.
I can
use the same one that's on the original
paperback with a
few heading changes.
They read
fewer paperbacks and more digital books versus last year and are especially likely to
use a hand - held device such as a Kindle.
I
use CreateSpace for my self pubbed titles, but only so I can easily have
paperback copies for book signings, a
few on consignment to the local bookstore, have copies to send relatives and friends who aren't into e books yet, and do Goodreads giveaways with signed copies.
