Vertical Inc had a booth at TCAF and I was able to pick up
a few volumes of manga from them too.
And lastly, to make my shopping bags all the heavier, a got
a few volumes of manga from the library.

Other tidbits (which you can read about in more detail over at Gia's live blog
of the panel) include Stan Lee's Ultimo running in Shonen Jump, Naruto taking a break in Shonen Jump to make way for a lot
of manga volumes spread over a
few months and some date reminders
of upcoming releases.
Several publishers provide access to a
few sample pages
of the first
volume of a
manga series to give you a taste
of the art and the story.
But perhaps in a
few short years, fans will have another local option to pick up the latest
volume of One Piece and other hit
manga.
The
manga selection is rather slim — just a
few volumes of Lone Wolf and Cub — but hopefully they will be ramping that up soon.
A
few books will remain on their original schedule, including the next
volume of Vampire Hunter D and the two Tezuka
manga funded by a recent Kickstarter campaign.
Few manga can match the style and heart
of the currently 106 -
volume JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
