fewer synthetic ingredients and more natural ones.

Where many brands do omit these
ingredients, many more just add a
few natural or organic
ingredients to a largely
synthetic product to allow usage of these terms when referring to their
ingredients.
Most conventional skin, personal and hair products on the market today contain
ingredients such as: TEAs, DEAs, glycols, silicones, sulphates, parabens,
synthetic colours, oils and flavourings, formaldehyde (or derivatives), insecticides, pesticides and ethoxylates, just to name a
few.
This is just a
few ingredients found in margarine: free radicles,
synthetic vitamins (detrimental and ineffective), emulsifiers / preservatives, hexane and other solvents, bleach, artificial flavors and colors, mono and di - glycerides, soy protein isolate, and sterols!
A healthy homemade fragrance spray can be made with only a
few ingredients, using essential oils as the fragrance in place of
synthetics.
Food labeled as natural should contain
few, if any,
synthetic ingredients.
