A vegetarian diet may or may not be higher in
fiber than a meat - based diet — it depends on food choices.

In our house we eat more venison
than farmed
meats which is very lean & loaded with
fiber.
But while both nut butters are high in protein (an ounce of nut butter is the protein equivalent to the same amount of
meat) and
fiber, almond butter is significantly higher
than peanut butter in vitamin E, magnesium and iron.
Don't marinate the steak for more
than 8 hours though, or the
fibers break down too much and the
meat gets mushy.
I do know I eat a lot more
fiber / greens / legumes and less
meat than I used to.
Also a surprise to you might be that plant protein is better quality
than meat protein and has
fiber and doe not cause cancer like
meat does.
Most vegetarian diets, even ones that include eggs and dairy products, often have less saturated fat and cholesterol and more complex carbohydrates, dietary
fiber, magnesium, folic acid, vitamin C and E and carotenoids
than diets that include
meat.
The question for you is can you propose a diet for these humans where they were able to get more
than a tiny fraction of their daily calories from
meat, eggs or insects that don't have
fiber and still eat enough plant foods to get 100 grams a day
