This booklet aims to provide assistance to parents by outlining the views of experts in
the field of adolescent development, and by sharing the lessons learned by parents, teachers, and teenagers from the various schools participating in this initiative.

of children and families, particularly through the Victorian Parenting Centre, and the
development and advancement
of training and education in the
field of child,
adolescent and family psychology».

adolescent counselors earn their master's degree in counseling or a related
field to fine tune their education with regards to child
development theories, counseling techniques with children, review
of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders, educational and psychological testing and measurement, and individual, group, and family therapy.
