When Fig Newtons were in - stock (pantry, top shelf) I would occasionally get a duo of them in my lunch box.
Looks wonderful (I always liked
fig newtons too) but shouldn't the recipe read «Mix all the DRY ingredients together in a medium bowl...»?
To my surprise, dried figs are more common in India than in USA... even
though fig newtons are so popular here!
