Anyone with a brain will tell you that MK and Injustice are very simplified, mainstream fighting games and that's typically not what
fighting game fans actually like for their fighters.

Visually appealing and off - kilter enough to remind even the worst cynics that
games can
actually have a fun core and work out from there — rather than building something then trying to figure out the fun part — BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger offers an interesting distraction, which might not be enough for hardcore
fighting fans (who probably played the
game to exhaustion years ago), but I'm not one of those people so I
actually had some fun with the
game.
As a
fighting game, well, you'll never see it at EVO, but as a casual brawler that
fans of the series can play, One Piece: Burning Blood is
actually pretty great.

games would probably work better than their emulated counterparts. In all of the
games sound effects appeared to be on a half - second delay the first time they were heard, then fine for the remainder of the session. As an example, the first time you throw a grenade in Metal Slug, it will explode and just as the animation is finishing, you will hear the explosion. This problem is off — putting but easily forgettable once all of the sounds have loaded properly. The main exception here is Shock Troopers which
actually freezes up momentarily when loading up a new sound which makes the
game almost unplayable for the opening instances of each level.
Osueke mentions in the above interview video that certain Vanguard Princess fighters
actually play similarly to certain Street Fighter characters like Fei Long and Zangeif, giving
fans of older
fighting games a solid entry point.
The netcode is also really good, something that
fighting game fans that
actually play this will appreciate.
