Visuals put aside, this is a pretty standard
fighting game that didn't really deviate from the
formula of the time: light and hard hits, simple inputs for special moves, more complex ones for «supers,» and lots of combos to learn.
It's not a revolutionary take on gathering materials, but it does shake up the
formula enough that early scouting phases are a necessity, and
fighting over Banks mid - and late -
game after all the oil fields have run dry makes for some exciting flashpoint - style skirmishes.
Most, if not all, anime
fighting game sequels prescribe to the same successful
formula; add more characters; improve a couple features here and there; give more extra content; sell.
While these 1 - on - 1
fights are the centerpiece of ARMS, several other
game types help to shake up the

formulas hasn't worked nearly as well as other franchises, with a good example of this being Castlevania Judgement, the first
fighting game in the Castlevania series, released on the Nintendo Wii in 2009.
Skipping the tired
formula of origin
games, Spider - Man picks up with a more advanced era of Peter Parker's crime -
fighting escapades and will see him facing legendary villain Kingpin all over again.
