After an amazing long
weekend filled with wedding festivities and champagne, I had to get myself back on track this week and start eating what's on the Tone It Up nutrition
plan.
Well, I don't have any big
plans, but most often, this
weekend each year is
filled with lots of relaxation, bike rides, some house / yard work (if I get around to it), and lots of good food (most often including barbecue ribs and homemade ice cream).
That was my
plan again last
weekend, but after
filling up my shopping cart with expensive ingredients for a new recipe, I couldn't stomach the $ 5 + price tag on the Betty Crocker mix.
However summer turned into fall,
weekends became
filled with
plans with friends, community events, and exploring our new home.
I'll admit I was really thrown for a loop by having my friend over for the
weekend, when I had
PLANNED to make pizza, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and other gluten
filled foods.
That toy platter is so huge but I
plan to
fill it up with cookies for my holiday party next
weekend, and beyond.
