I just don't see how a bad fuel
filler cap would adversely impact fuel delivery and fuel management, especially
when fuel trims exist.
What probably happened was, back
when I paid other people to do my oil changes, some underpaid mechanic at Walmart wanted to get his day over with and haphazardly jammed the metal oil gun into the
filler too hard, which bent and broke the oil baffle, which can be seen below the oil
cap here in this 2AZ - FE.

when I remove the
filler cap to refuel the car that it gives of a sound, like
when opening a bottle of soda.
When I removed the oil
filler cap on the valve cover it was like a milk shack, but nothing in the oil pan itself.
Ram recommends that you refill the DEF tank (the
filler is behind the fuel
cap)
