recipes out there, so this
fills a need.
The book is
filled with Chitra's super comprehensive explanations of Indian cooking techniques like tempering spices, etc., which takes the intimidation factor
out of the
recipes.
We were cooking for clients, clearing
out their cupboards,
filling up their fridges and freezers and showing them how to cook our
recipes.
I was worried about the measurements using only almond slivers (crust
recipe calls for slivers,
filling recipe for almond slices), but it turned
out not to be an issue.

recipe, as the pumpkin wouldn't contribute sweetness the way the bananas do; I baked the batter as a dozen standard muffins, which took about 20 minutes at 350.

out for vegetable broth and I would avoid spraying the tortillas with cooking oil entirely to make it a healthier oil - free dish!

out apricot and huckleberry jams from the fridge.

recipe exactly and did have to bake an extra 10 minutes but that was the only change — and I use the small disposable aluminum bread pan (bread pops right
out) This bread is wonderful... not only easy to slice but easy to slice thin and the slices hold up great in a sandwich (no matter what the
filling is) and it tastes great.
