Writer - director Sara Colangelo expands her 2010 short
film Little Accidents into her first full - length feature, which recently received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Screenplay.
The film also stars Luke Wilson (Legally Blonde), Ty Burrell («Modern Family «-RRB-, Joanna Gleason («Love & War «-RRB- and relative newcomer Boyd Holbrook (2014 Maryland Film Festival closing
film Little Accidents), all of whom impress, as well.

films, that have become so popular the past decade, and normally I am a huge fan of them.
At the beginning of «
Little Accidents,» the
film bears the traces of a coming - of - age story, as Owen struggles to make friends, take care of his family and navigate his future without his father.

There's enough talent on display, from a promising filmmaker to a breakout cast, to make
Little Accidents a modest watch, but its paper - thin characters, awkward romantic subplot, and predictable conclusion reduce the overall effectiveness of the
film — a shame, because it's the type of small independent
film you want to root for.
Those considering this
film for
little ones should be aware it contains the depiction of a track
accident where both a horse and jockey are injured.
The filmmaker was a last minute edition at the 2015 edition of the Sundance
film festival with her debut

little DNA from Mean Creek, Bully, and / or Stand By Me in this excellent indie thriller about three teenaged boys who react (very) poorly to a horrific fatal
accident — but there's also a lot of insight, intelligence, and originality to be found here as well.
While the
film runs a bit too long, and the heartstring tugging becomes overwrought, overall this family melodrama about a devastating illness and the freak
accident that cured it is surprisingly effective, even for those of
little faith.
Future stars (of varying degree) James Marsden, Christine Taylor, Christopher Masterson, Amy Smart, Ron Livingstone and Jacinda Barrett star in this impressive, genuinely scary
little film, about teens stranded in the woods by a car
accident who occupy their time telling each other scary stories that explore some familiar urban legends with interesting twists.
Woody Harrelson (Out of the Furnace) and Elizabeth Banks (
Little Accidents) are back as comic relief (of which this gloomy
film needs much more than it has), and are each perfect, as is Jeffrey Wright («Boardwalk Empire «-RRB- as the Capital's erstwhile tech security guy who now works for the rebellion.
Little Accidents is not only a beautifully shot
film, but it also had the collectively incredible cast whom were unwavering in their individual performances to portray isolation, betrayal, heartache, and the wonder of the human spirit in the face of sorrow.
There are even some
films that never get picked up and languish in obscurity until quiet VOD releases (most people probably don't even know that recent releases «Song One» and «
Little Accidents» were Sundance 2014 offerings).
In the case of an
accident that might cracks the window, the strong adhesive tint
film will hold the cracked glass together help prevent it from doing damage and adding a
little more safety to the automobile.
