If you're looking for a great family comedy watch Toy Story or The Sandlot instead, Mouse Hunt simply is an
empty shell of a
film, a
film that
leaves a lot to be desired.
Certain images in the
film are memorable, such as Will's lingering glance at an

leaf - strewn swimming pool, which may inspire your longing for an adaptation of John Cheever's The Swimmer with Hamm in the title role.
