Hey, I guess Donat was a pretty
big star, which is good, because as this
film will tell you, he was pretty talented, though not so much so that he could make you forget the final product's
flaws.
Furthermore, it raises the bar for everything in the
film that succeeds it, and for many it earmarks the
biggest flaw in Saving Private Ryan.
It is unfortunate that the
film's marketing budget and small distribution are its
biggest flaws, because the
film will make you laugh, cry, and smile more than most
films that actually did get nominated.

film's
biggest flaw is that it doesn't live up to the potential suggested by the marketing campaign.
A
film in 2015 that stick to the standard action formula of a
flawed lead character full of angst helping some woman fight back against her tormentors would likely be fun and a
big hit, but by going against the norm and embracing every bit of chaos in this mad world, Miller creates a new king of the road that's going to be hard for any upcoming blockbuster in 2015 and beyond to top.
I forgot to mention of of the
biggest flaws in the Tinker Tailor
film which wasn't in the TV series or book, i.e. — MAJOR SPOILER — Jim Prideaux / Mark Strong acknowleged that he suspected that the mole was who he was before he went on his mission and told the mole about the mission beforehand, therefore setting himself and his agents up.
Over the next few months, expect Chazelle to be praised the world over as the man who brought the
big - time movie musical back from the dead, but he's not nearly as stuck in the past as his
film's
flawed hero.
The
film's
biggest flaw is not capitalizing on the opportunity afforded by Nonso Anozie's Idi Amin Dada, and even more disappointing is the abbreviated scenes between Shimon Peres (Eddie Marsan) and Yizhak Rabin (Lior Ashkenazi, FOXTROT).
