«Homecoming» may be the sixth Spider - Man movie from Sony
in 15 years, but it's by
far one of the top two
films in the entire
franchise.
I think Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is the most consistently entertaining, most laser - focused entry

far, and while I would argue that it is very much a sequel to the third
film and not just a disconnected piece of a flexible
franchise, it is also a great rollicking self - contained spy movie adventure on a grand scale, and it's preposterous fun.

far been content to allow each entry to do its own thing, one of the rare points of consistency among the Cloverfield
films has been the gimmicky release.

far as the style and sense of humor goes, it does still feel unique among the rest of the pack of
franchises out here, even if it can't achieve the level of success
in either of those departments that the first

in the case of the comedy as a lot of the jokes
in this one fall very flat.

far as the CGI work, it's something we have come to expect from this
franchise, but the work is seamless
in this
film, as well; and with apocalyptic conflicts going on — with half of the city of Chicago destroyed — the graphics department acquitted themselves nicely.
Universal thus
far hasn't decided to explore this area, which is just fine, as few would want to see a Psycho
film without Norman Bates
in it, so it is only fitting that the
film franchise end here.

film's twisted universe there comes a twist which throws you completely off, as the script essentially points out that Hollywood is a corrupt and corrupting place where no real human values apply.
But, as Deadline reports, the actor - producer isn't straying too
far from that
franchise for the first
film in that arrangement.
With the horror -
franchise Paranormal Activity going strong (the three movies released so
far have brought
in an excess of half - a-billion dollars) and recent religious horror
films doing well

It seems slightly
far - fetched, but if you had told me
in 2001 that The Fast and the Furious would kick off a huge, long - running, highly successful

far as the jokes, I just think David Slade has been a great influence
in turning the
franchise away from being
far too sincere and has embraced some of its ridiculousness, whereas Chris Weitz went too
far trying to make New Moon credible and should be ashamed of himself for the sparkly, skipping
in the forest scene, which almost ruined that
film.
With another strong performance by Radcliffe anchoring the
film, more of fan favorite villain Snape (Rickman, Sweeney Todd), and bolstering even
further an already impressive cast of the finest British actors, The Half - Blood Prince provides another solid entry
in the
franchise, giving an entertaining bridge between the strong Order of the Phoenix and the upcoming final chapter, The Deathly Hallows.
It's a monumental amount for any
franchise to rake
in, but when you look at the history of «Fifty Shades» and its author, and remember that the story she was telling was actually a fan - fiction based on the «Twilight» series of novels and
films, it's incredible to see how
far the series has come.
Visions may lack some of the atmosphere of Jessabelle, which used its Louisiana locations to great effect, and Fisher lacks the compelling, quirkier presence of the earlier
film's Sarah Snook, but Visions serves as
further evidence that Greutert is one of the most interesting mainstream horror directors around — I can easily see a The Conjuring - style success
in his future — and that despite its many diminishing - returns
franchise films (Paranormal Activity, Sinister, Insidious, et al.), Blumhouse is
far from running out of ideas.
