I had the itch to bake again this weekend and
I finally got to bake these savory and sweet bars on Monday.
After quite a long time,
I finally got to bake it.
Not exact matches
I've been dreaming about making no -
bake lemon bars for a while now and
finally got around
to the idea a few weeks ago.
-LSB-...] I can
finally make bread!!!! We, no I, have all but finished our stash of frozen bread so I
got to bake bread again.
First problem was the crust, I couldn't
get it
to go up the sides evenly — after about 20 minutes of pressing and redistributing, etc., I
finally just gave up and
baked it as is.
I've
finally given in and bought myself a waffle maker... It only took me a few months but I started
getting too impatient using the waffle silicon molds and wait for them
to bake in the oven (although those beetroot waffles were totally worth it, I must say).
I know other bloggers
get this — it takes some time
to put a recipe, photos, and
finally a post together, so I could never
bake him something and post it immediately!
Then the
baking powder I had prepared
finally got fully used up (I used Coconut Mama's three - ingredient
baking powder recipe), and I decided
to buy some ready - made
baking powder from a store
to replace it.
By the way, loving cookie week... it has
finally inspired me
to get my butt in gear for Xmas
baking.
I'm
finally getting back into my cooking /
baking routine after falling out of it so hard I was starting
to question whether I even liked cooking anymore.
I
finally got around
to trying the recipe as I was cleaning out my
baking cabinets and discovered many bags of half - empty (or half - full if you're hungry like I was) chips and candy bits.
I
finally figured out (after much intense and serious cookie making and
baking) how
to get cookies
to go inside the pockets and purses again!
So at first I didn't realize I had
to bake the cheesecake later for 45 min then freeze it so I had
to make the time then I had
to go back
to the store for ingredients I thought I had then
got ready
to get started again and realized I needed a spring pan which I don't have so I had
to go back
to the store so I
get ready
to make it and I have no parchment paper I called my neighbor and thank god she had some so I make the layer after redoing it once then I realize I can't make the cake layer because I have only one egg left so back
to the store I go now I'm
finally finishing it and I think the cake batter is
to stiff I measured the ingredients so carefully and my daughter doesn't make it any better she tasted it and said it isn't good lol well I'm pushing through come hell or high water I am gonna finish this doggone cake!!
I had an obsessive yen
to bake challah that started at 3:30 pm, and I
finally got enough eggs by 5:30 pm.

Baked Oatmeal, inspired by the Blackberry Peach version from Bethany and Rachel.
I've read various blogs / website on ways using pork rinds in
baking and I
finally got to experiment with.
I am so glad
to finally get the recipe so I can
bake this for myself.
I'm also happy
to report that I think I might be
finally getting the hang of this vegan and gluten - free
baking thing.
These are not «labeled» as brownies, and maybe that's what
got me
to try the recipe, I don't know, but I'm happy I
finally tried using black beans in
baking....
It's taken me several years
to perfect my paleo
baking and I think I've
finally got it nailed.
I've been wanting
to experiment in different types of
baking for a while now and have
finally gotten around
to it.
Aside from
baking, it was interesting
to see how much pasta I was actually cooking and, even better,
to see my daughter
finally «
get» the relationship of ounces
to grams.
Finally got around
to this in time for Rosh Hashana — read your note at the top, and in fact, the teaspoon - instead - of - tablespoon of
baking powder was the perfect solution
to a beautifully domed Bundt cake and 1/2 a dozen cupcakes (which I tasted, and was excited
to find that I believe this recipe will satisfy the many different opinions about perfect honey cake in my house!)
I
finally have a handle on
baking cookies (it took me years
to get good at it) and these are
getting added
to the repertoire.
Finally, and
to reiterate an earlier point, the way forward for this club is
to stop paying below average bench players so much money and
to focus the bulk of the weekly wages on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the club
to eat some wages in order
to ship some players out,
get rid of any deadwood over the age of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money where your mouth is for once... I would much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers playing time when injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no longer be able
to sell their half -
baked plans
to the fans under the guise of «winning now», which any intelligent fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona, Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3 clubs weekly wages were on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
After patiently waiting driving me crazy while the muffins
baked and cooled off, Phoebe and Estelle
finally got to dig in.
Finally, apples are highly versatile, so there's no need
to get bored: they can be mixed in a large range of fruit salads, cereals, and even in some quintessential
baked goods.
The weather
FINALLY cools off in Florida, the sunlight beams through the trees and into the house at different angles, the leaves change (as much as they can in this climate), and I
get to bake with all my favorite ingredients.
The warmer weather lately (
finally) has had me brainstorming all kinds of
baking projects, but when I thought of this one at the beginning of the week, I had
to get started on it immediately.
