Microsoft use the same format every year and you can predict what's coming, Sony not quite so much other than you expect an awesome sizzle reel to start the show and then they surprise you with something at the end, even if it's
finally seeing gameplay for a game, usually a Naughty Dog game but that's it.
Fans have been waiting for 10 long years to
finally see some gameplay footage from Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Finally we see some gameplay, instead of exclusively being shown the far less important storytelling stuff desperately holding up «mental illness» as a reach for critical approval.
Since EA first announced Star Wars battlefront was coming over a year ago, I have been waiting in anticipation to
finally see gameplay.
This obviously has gotten everyone's hopes up about
finally seeing some gameplay in motion.

The
gameplay is extremely funny and fluid and from a technical point of view it's
finally something good to
see.

gameplay footage of the game rather than pre-recorded footage by Nintendo itself, and it really gave us a lot of insight on the game.
Another interesting twist to the franchise that
finally sees it implemented into the main Samurai Warriors
gameplay is that players now have access to two generals on the field which greatly increases the strategy of how you play the game.
Then,
finally, came the debut
gameplay of No Man's Sky which looks as massive and open as they talk about and I hope to
see more very soon.
After raising more questions than answers last year, Guerrilla Games was
finally ready to properly unveil Horizon: Zero Dawn at E3 this month, where Stevivor
saw an extended
gameplay demo and went hands - on for the first time.
Now, it's pretty clear that nothing has changed since we
saw the new GT2 RS at E3, but this time around we get a look at the rear (the only rear shot we had before was from Forza 7 pre-alpha
gameplay) and
finally get to
see what's going on inside — at least to an extent, anyway.

Finally an RPG on the PS3, and one that has such fantastic art and from everything I've
seen, really great
gameplay as well.
Plus, if you watch some of the
gameplay on Youtube, you'll
see that this game
finally supports rounds like traditional fighting games.

gameplay modes we can expect to
see once the game

Hopefully problems like the AI are going to be sorted by time the game
finally releases, but whether or not the rest of the
gameplay can live up to the series high standards remains to be
seen, but at this point it certainly seems like Edge aren't all that hopeful.
Perhaps we'll
finally get to
see some FF VII
gameplay or maybe even a reveal of Final Fantasy XVI?
As always though, there is a hidden message as to what to expect when we
finally get to
see gameplay footage.
These are just the sort of ultimate
gameplay elements I dream about
seeing someday in a game universe, such as yours, which will
finally and truly give players the power to make their own story.

We've known about Rise of the Tomb Raider for a while now, but we

sees you fighting through randomly generated levels until

There were the odd exceptions, Driveclub, Infamous: Second Son and Shadow of Mordor were games built to take advantage of the current generation technology to show us something we hadn't
seen before and I know, and hope that next year will continue to offer us new experiences that will allow us to
finally shrug off the longest, and therefore the most persistent
gameplay trends of the PS3 days.
