A month or so into blogging,
I finally showed my kitchen (from the original house I lived in as a blogger.)

It's worth mentioning that the old
kitchen floor was white tile that
showed off every spec of dust that landed on it, and the living room floors had white plush carpeting, and I am so happy to
finally be rid of both.

Paul Overy, in his book Light, Air and Openness
shows this photo of a typical family scene, and, ties the Frankfurt
kitchen to the Hygiene Movement, from that period between the wars when people
finally understood how germs cause disease but didn't have antibiotics to deal with it.

I'm so excited to
finally show how my gray and white
kitchen cabinet colors and how they turned out after they were painted!
I know I've offered some sneak peeks but I'm
finally ready to officially reveal more pics
showing the gray
kitchen cabinets... and in the process you'll get to see a preview of the room!
Then I'll
finally be able to take the reveal photos and
show you around our
kitchen!
So off to Trader Joe's I went for some flowers and then home to click, click, click my camera and today I'm so thrilled to
finally be
showing you our
kitchen makeover!
