T - Mobile provides its own keyboard from
Swype; I
found it easy to use and responsive, with convenient multipurpose keys that are better defined than those of the stock Android keyboard but cluttered with secondary characters.
Now if only I can
find an easy way to install
Swype I'd be a happy camper.

founded in 2002, was one of the pioneers of the swipe / glide touchscreen keyboard function — something which helped one of its employees achieve a Guinness World Record in 2010 for the fastest text message written on a touchscreen mobile phone.
Samsung's offering does give you continuous input (the Korean firm's answer to
Swype) and we were also impressed with the ability to swipe the entire keyboard to the side in order to switch between different keyboard inputs - it's a slightly easier option than
finding the tiny button in the corner.
