The murderer on - the - run preacher
in The Apostle who
founds a church where class and status make no
difference, a congregation of displaced misfits who are poor and poorer, dumb and dumber, black and white, male and female, and fatter and fatter still, is telling people who need to hear (because they can't read) what they most need to know to turn their
lives around: They can be saved, despite it all, if they believe
in Jesus and «Holy Ghost power.»
Bu tthe effort of trying to
live a good christian
life got to much ad i was disollutioned.Spent ten years as a backslidden barely believing christian and then
in recent years as a transformed renewed Christian and i finally got it.It is all about a relationship with Jesus Christ and working
in submission to the holy spirit he is the one that inspires his word he brings it to
life.If you want to understand the word we must apply it to our
lives then it becomes part of us thats the
difference between knowledge and understanding not just knowing the word but
living the word. The bible is a book useful for
living not just a theoretical analysis or a history book.Jesus is the
living word its through him that he opens his word to us without the holy spirit
in us the carnal mind can not comprehend Gods word it a mystery. It was designed that way so only those who are truly seeking God shall
find him.brentnz

well just thinking about these wars
in the muslim / mid-east world over religious
differences (which may reflect mental states
in many ways)
in a world where most realize that
living in the present moment is best way to happiness and being
in the moment
in non-strife and awareness through the teachings of masters such as
found in the buddhist, taoist, zen, etc., etc., etc. spriritually based practices of religious like thought and teachings, etc. that to ask these scientifically educated populace whom have access to vast amounts of knowledges and understandings on the internet, etc. to believe
in past beliefs that perhaps gave basis and inspiration to that which followed — but is not the end all of all times or knowledges — and is thus — non self - sustaining
in a belief that does not encompass growth of knowledge and understanding of all truths and being as it is or could be — is to not respect the intelligence and minds and personage of even themselves — not to be disrespected nor disrespectful
in any way — only to point out that perhaps too much is asked to put others into the cloak of blind faith and adherance to the past that disregards the realities of the present and the potential of the future... so you try to
live in the past — and destroy your present and your future — where is the intelligence
in that — and why do people continually fear monger or allow to be fear — mongered into this destructive vision of the future based upon the past?
they have got to educate themselves to who they really are —

Tim i
found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be
in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better not being involved
in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others
in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that
in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am
in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating
in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change
in my
life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was
in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing
in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time
in everything.
In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services
in the morning and one has services
in the evening so the two do nt really clash.
In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out
in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The
difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it
in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is
in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz

obscures the witness of Christian faith to the essential
difference between God and man — the Creator and the creature, the Redeemer and the redeemed... It is the very refusal to
live, finally, solely from God's love for us that I
find involved
in the setting up of our own subjective immortality alongside of our objective immortality
in God.
If, abstracting altogether from the question of their value for the future spiritual
life of the individual, we take them on their psychological side exclusively, so many peculiarities
in them remind us of what we
find outside of conversion that we are tempted to class them along with other automatisms, and to suspect that what makes the
difference between a sudden and a gradual convert is not necessarily the presence of divine miracle
in the care of one and of something less divine
in that of the other, but rather a simple psychological peculiarity, the fact, namely, that
in the recipient of the more instantaneous grace we have one of those Subjects who are
in possession of a large region
in which mental work can go on subliminally, and from which invasive experiences, abruptly upsetting the equilibrium of the primary consciousness, may come.
The Godless Monster is right, people try and influence, control, manipulate, ect
in every area of
life when they have a position of authority, thats human nature, or the sin nature of man if you like.Because the church has a lot of organisation, its a hot bed of oppitunity for people with ideas or assperations to lead or control to position themselves, and once there become protective of their role, it gives them a voice. You will
find them
in schools, governments, offices, everywhere.IT really makes no
difference if it christian or athiest place, its people being people
I am not terribly interested

So, what I have
found is this: other than beliefs, there really is little
difference between those who believe and those who didnâ $ ™ t. Those who believe that they have the Holy Spirit
