Nutrition aside, in this pantry clear - out project of mine, I
found 2 bags of the
dried Inca
berries (why is it that I have 2 of everything?!)!
100g almonds 100g ground almonds 375g pitted dates 7 tablespoons cacao powder (I use Bioglan — which you can
find here) 70g
dried mixed
berries 70g walnuts 2 tablespoons coconut oil (I use Lucy Bee coconut oil — you can
find that here) Pinch sea salt
You can also
find the whole
berries in
dried form for garnish.
Goji
berries are part of the nightshade family, are you will typically
find them sold in
dry form.
I hope you can
find freeze
dried berries they have such great flavour.
Unless these
berries are shipped quickly, you will have to
find freeze -
dried acai
berry powder, frozen whole
berries or puree.
I used to think that only
dried goji
berries were available in stores, but recently I
found frozen goji
berries at Whole Foods, and I personally like these a LOT better than the
dried Goji
berries.
On the market, saw palmetto is typically
found as whole,
dried berries, tablets, extracts, and powdered capsules.
Therefore it is more than likely that
drying will reduce the melatonin in goji
berries in the same way, although I can not
find papers saying this explicitly.
I
found freeze -
dried acai
berries at Whole Foods.
The
dried and powdered allspice
berries can be
found encapsulated, in fixed doses, and are easy to ingest in order to relieve flatulence, indigestion, and other gastrointestinal issues.
If you can
find freeze -
dried berries and
berry powders with no additives, try them in smoothies, yogurt and baked goods.
I started by decorating my mantle and adding a few fun faux branches with
berries (Similar), corn husk pumpkins (the full tutorial can be

dried oats.
