one quick question — where do
you find espresso powder?
I have no coffee know - how and didn't
find any espresso powder or instant coffee in the house so I ground a bit of dark roast coffee that I found lurking in the back of the cupboard.
(If you can not
find espresso powder, you can use instant coffee granules.
I found the espresso powder at Market Basket after searching a few stores.

If you can't
find it, you can try substituting 1/4 tsp or so of
espresso powder (
found in the coffee section of any grocery store) to add that mocha flavour, or just leave it out altogether.
I've
found that using both melted chocolate and cocoa
powder provides multiple layers of deep chocolate flavor, which a bit of
espresso and vanilla only seek to enhance.
I have also added a little instant
espresso powder (or instant coffee
powder) as I
find it highlights and adds depth to the chocolate flavor.
I also started drinking a shot of cacao
powder in a little
espresso cup with warm water before a meal and
found my appetite decreased and I ate a lot less than I would have normally.
