for my
book The Daddy Shift, I
found the happiest ones were those who weren't hung up on
ideas about what a man should do and what a woman should do.
But Mackey, who co-authored a bestselling
book on the theme in 2013, has become the closest thing to a modern - day spokesman
for an
idea that, dare we say, has
found its time.
I chose Brian and Dharmesh, founders of HubSpot, to write the first
book in the series because they are social media marketing pioneers and have tons of amazing
ideas for companies to get

found this
book to be largely anecdotal and whose primary message was that other people
found a variety of
ideas for start ups that fit their lives.
And if things don't move in that direction - well, you might
find he has nice friends, or he might turn out to be right
for one of your friends, or you might just have a pleasant evening, or he might introduce you to some new
ideas,
books, music or interests.
It's a pretty good
book, though it seemed to me that the further you got in the
book the less it became about discussing interesting
ideas about applying Christian ideals in the society we
find ourselves in and more it became a lot of his personal prescriptions
for what needs to be done and a venting of his worst pet peeves, filled with just a bit to much anger.
But if you are looking
for some thoughtful
ideas or a boost to get your community moving in the right direction, there may be no better
book currently available than
Finding Organic Church.
