As you work your way up the tree, adding new skills and weaponry, selling your finds to open up new crafted materials in the shop, and hanging out at the tavern to
find new side quests, the game easily comes into it's own, and it becomes exciting to revisit the world, delving deeper and learning more, with or without an epic overarching plot.

After finishing all of the trials and entering the Pokémon League, I

finding missing band members, or going through a series of trials to get gold, silver and bronze medals to unlock different doors to give you
new costumes that will give you pluses and minuses in certain areas such as health regeneration or more powerful punches.
It's so linear that you can't even speak to characters in the streets of the citte, there are no
side quests, and you will also not
find any shops to
find new equipment and the game offers no character customization what so ever.

These are
side quests you unlock by commanding your Farm Digimon to Investigate and
find you
new cases.
The pacing in Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part 1 is similar to the main game, the
new setting and the
side -
quests provide a lot of interesting content and the
new characters added (for example Zahua, an eccentric monk
found in Stalwart, the Hub of The White March) provide interesting and colorful conversation and lore.
There's a 40 + hour story here with plenty of
side quests, and a
New Game Plus option, as well as an online battle mode which is quite fun if you can
find somebody to play against.
I finished my first run (there's a
New Game + mode) in a bit under two hours, but there was definitely a lot of stuff I didn't
find and
side quests I didn't pursue to their ends.
This
side quest is called «A Secret Shared» and it can be acquired by speaking with a man named Kamut, who can be
found near the village that you enter when you first make your way into the Cut — the
new area in the north that the DLC takes places in.
