I would like to know where you
find the dates and in some of your other
recipe you use coconut oil and rolled
oats.
I couldn't
find sunflower seeds, so just went with the
recipe as posted (substituted some of more expensive ingredients — honey for maple syrup, different type of date), but will use suggestion of upping
oats next time to see how it goes.

Considering the age of the
recipe and Aunt Daisy's reputation I was suprised to
find there are no
oats included but instead a combination of wheatgerm and walnuts in addition to coconut.
All of the
recipes on my website are gluten - free, so if you're allergic to
oats I would just use the search bar on my site to
find a cookie
recipe that doesn't call for them.
Out of necessity I used 2 cups
oats no buckwheat, other tha that I followed your
recipe exactly.Everyone that tries it loves it.Ihhope to
find a cheaper source of maple syrup so I can make this often.
I had another overnight
oats recipe I was going to make, but I love steel cuts
oats and did a quick search and

I use the protein for my post-workout meals which is either proats (protein
oats) or a protein omelette (which you can

I haven't actually
found a dairy / gluten - free flapjack
recipe yet, but I would think you could use a normal
recipe, just using gluten - free
oats (again, easily available, though expensive) and subbing something like coconut oil for the butter?
I could not wait to make your breakfast
recipe... Had oatmeal on hand, shopped for the rest and all I could
find was rolled barley... so, I made it with: rolled
oats, rolled barley, rolled quinoa, some farro and spelt.
I should do that with the oat flour, but I
find it can throw the
recipes off since 1 cup of
oats doesn't equal 1 cup of oat flour

recipe on Pinterest for the Strawberries and cream overnight
oats.
Unfortunately, I haven't
found a sub for the
oats in this
recipe.
@SmartSassy... there is a big difference, but if you re-read the
recipe, you'll
find they are made with old fashioned
oats and wheat bran.
