If you can't
find plain tomato sauce, pureed tomatoes would work.

Of course, if someone could not
find the
tomatoes with medium green chiles they could get a small can of green chiles to go with their can of
plain diced
tomatoes.
I had

find the second 8 oz can so I used Ragu roasted red pepper spaghetti sauce.

found it rather
plain and noted the other recipe book used more onions and
tomato puree which I will try next time.
Being gluten - free,
tomato - free (and with many other food sensitivities), it can be very difficult to

find so instead I just used
