All of the exotic - sounding ingredients (such as
Thai chili paste, coconut milk, fish sauce,
Thai curry powder or yellow curry paste) can be easily
found in the international or Asian aisle of any large grocery store.
I can't
find harissa (haven't looked super duper hard, but you know) and use
Thai chili paste instead.

find straw mushrooms, and thinly julienned peppers where
Thai chili peppers would usually be.

An easy raw food coconut soup recipe made from a young coconut and plenty of
Thai spices, including ginger (or
Thai galangal if you can
find it), lime juice, curry powder, cilantro and
chili.
Since I am not an expert in Asian food, I just stuck with some of the basic flavors that you'll
find -
chili, fish sauce is the authentic
Thai condiment.
We use
Thai sweet
chili sauce for this, which you can
find in most grocery stores now, just look in the international aisle or if you can not
find it there, try an international food market.
I make this in Germany with what I can
find: no nutritional yeast,
thai chili peppers instead of jalepeno, and brown miso, and I use chipotle instead of ancho.
